  • Draw upon relevant prior knowledge to enhance comprehension, and note when the text expands on or challenges that knowledge.
  • Support and illustrate arguments and explanations with relevant details, examples and evidence.

Students will:
 

  • Collaborate with other students in groups and use textual evidence to support their position on whether or not Alfons Heck was a victim.
  • Each write a paragraph articulating their personal responses to the questions raised in the text.
