Students will:
- Read or listen to chapters 1-4 in class
- Paraphrase the main idea for each chapter using a teacher-designed graphic organizer
- Identify unfamiliar vocabulary presented in each chapter and determine the definition of the word using context clues and a dictionary
- Identify how pictures add to the meaning of a story
