Objectives: |
Students will:
- Read and discuss the book Kingdom of the Golden Dragon by Isabel Allende and discuss the book literally and analytically.
- Research the history of Tibet.
- Engage in a debate as either a citizen of the People’s Republic of China or the Tibet Autonomous Region in regard to the Free Tibet movement.
- Discuss their opinions of the participation of various countries in Beijing Olympics of 2008.
