Students will:
 

  • Listen to and/or read the book Shh! We’re Writing the Constitution by Jean Fritz and discuss the text both literally and analytically.
  • Read, define and use vocabulary from the text.
  • Complete several “Read to Find Out” worksheets while they are reading the text.
  • Explain how setting a purpose for reading helps with comprehension and enjoyment of reading.
