Students will:
- Read or listen to portions of The World at Her Fingertips: The Story of Helen Keller by Joan Dash.
- Choose one aspect of Helen Keller’s life that they can relate to and find passages from the book to support their descriptions of that phase of Helen Keller’s life.
- Reflect upon their use of Recordings for the Blind & Dyslexic and how the audiobooks have affected their educational and personal goals. If students do not use audiobooks, they will reflect upon how other tools, such as computers or calculators, affect their educational and personal goals.
