- Read and discuss the book The Celery Stalks at Midnight by James Howe literally and analytically.
- Define the terms exposition, rising action, climax, falling action and resolution as they pertain to the plot structure of a story.
- Identify, define and analyze the plot of a story.
- Complete a Plot Structure graphic organizer.
