Objectives:

Students will:

  • Read and discuss the book George vs. George: The American Revolution as Seen from Both Sides by Rosalyn Schanzer literally and analytically.
  • Gain an understanding of the causes of the Revolutionary War.
  • Use a Venn diagram to compare the British Army and Rebel Army during the Revolutionary War.
  • Write at least three journal entries from the perspective of George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
  • Write at least three journal entries from the perspective of King George III during the Revolutionary War.
  • Create an interview with George Washington after the Revolutionary War was over.
  • Create an interview with King George III after the Revolutionary War was over.
