SC7.3.2: Explain the interaction and dependence of organisms on one another.

Objectives:

Students will:

  • Generate a list of organisms indigenous to Hawaii*, that depend on one another to live.
  • Detail the effect each organism has on the one that depends upon it (Ex. for food, shelter, protection, etc.).
  • Describe what effect removing one organism from the chain would have on the remaining organisms and the environment as a whole.
