NYS ELA Standard 2. Speaking and Writing. Students will create their own stories, poems and songs using the elements of the literature they have read and appropriate vocabulary.
Students will listen to Max’s Words by Kate Banks and remember the words he collected.
Students will collect their own words and put them in a word box. At the end of two weeks we will make a story from the words in our word box.
